Crowd

Crowd is a transposable multiple self portrait, that makes the viewer the subject and explores the depth of humanity contained within each individual that makes them part of the whole. A site reactive, composite piece, Crowd consists of many hundreds of individually painted blocks. Each block or tablet shows a figure; each figure is unique. The ultimate size of Crowd is not predetermined; it continues to grow as new figures are added, each similar to the rest and yet with its own identity.
